Video footage capturing the incident shows PC Dharni’s actions, including the kick, as well as her verbal response, where she shouted, “Get lost. Get your f***ing phone out of my face,” while seemingly attempting to grab the recording device.

The incident has ignited discussions surrounding the use of force by law enforcement officers, transparency, and accountability within the police force. Calls for a thorough investigation into the actions of PC Dharni have grown, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that officers are held accountable for their conduct.

This incident serves as a reminder of the significance of body-worn cameras and the role they play in documenting interactions between law enforcement and the public. It also underscores the need for transparency and accountability in maintaining public trust in the police.
