Facebook users have reported that the social media site is currently down and not working.

In a surprising turn of events, Facebook has experienced a significant service disruption, impacting over 17,000 of its users. This issue was widely reported on Downdetector, a popular platform for tracking outages, where a multitude of users expressed their difficulties in accessing and utilizing the social media giant.



A closer examination of the data revealed that the majority, about 64%, encountered hurdles with the website’s functionality. Meanwhile, app-related challenges were reported by 22% of the users, and 14% faced obstacles during the login process.

The service interruption commenced around 3 pm and, as per the latest updates from Downdetector, many are still grappling with access issues.
